i know im a freakin noob but im not quite still sure how to make a platform for my character to stand on when making a game please elaberate (explain more) :D good toutorial though

This is my first tutorial and it covers 6 different things:
dress-ups
Making somthing move with arrow keys
characters
custom cursors
something watches the cursor
something follows the mouse

some scripts dont work
im usin flash pro 8 the same as u but it wont work the mouse folo script or the watch the mouse script theres always 2 errors

This is an easy(ish) to follow tutorial, which includes how to guides for all the stuff you've mentioned above!
I think you've done well with cramming as much in as you have, but I think you could spend more time with the graphics and presentation of the whole thing...
On some of the tutorials, I noticed the code was bigger in font size than other tutorials. Things like this lose marks for me.
Otherwise, I think it would be useful to use for beginners who don't know flash!
