I finally release my first game, Super Smash Flash! Play as 28 different characters in Multi-man Melee, Target Test, Adventure, Classic, All-Star and more! So have fun! (I recommend a decent computer to run this game.)

Other Info:

-topcat13 is the one who created the characters Blade and Blue.
-Do not yell at me for not putting in EVERY single character from SSBM, I have my reasons.
-If you don't like the gameplay, at least cut me some slack since I'm only 16 and it's my first real game.
-You can't play team battles without at least one member on 2 or more of the teams.
-Player 1 is required for V.S. Battles
-I find it quite entertaining to watch CPU's battle it out to see who's best, try it!
-All Credit Info is already in the SWF

The nostalgia...I remember being an innocent 6 or 7 year old OBSESSED with Mario, and this game had Mario in it, and so I played it. And I ended up LOVING it and discovering lots of other characters rather than just Mario...good innocent times. And I still play this sometimes because ogf the nostalgia. But this right here is a REVIEW, and not a nostalgia rush. So let's take our nostalgia glasses off and get ourselves together!

Overall, I give this game a 2.5/5, which equals average, aka, not good, not bad. The good things about it: It has lots of different characters from all different series', all with their own unique powers and abilities. Playing through Classic, Adventure, All Star, and the multi-man modes are all fun.

Now for the flaws: The biggest flaw and the most obvious one is that there's no skill at all involved. You can easily beat a match by just going left/light, while holding one button. The characters just slide to the opposite side of the screen. And stage 3 of Adventure mode is a chore because of so much lag. And there are sometimes glitches, like where the air hits you and makes you fall. And what is up with the 2 poorly made Sonic fan-characters (Blade & Blue)? Even Pichu would've been a better edition than those guys.

And that wraps it up. But Cleod-9, you were a young developer with no experience when you made this, and for someone like that, this game is incredible. And your sequel Super Smash Flash 2 is just amazing. Just flawless. The only bad thing is the Online Mode: Doesn't remember username and pass, matches always disconnect, screen always blacks out, there's sudden death, match lags, etc. But those problems will be fixed in the future. Just keep up the good work.

I remember playing this all the time when I lived at the those shitty apartments.
Please make a third installment that also includes every character in Smash 4, even DLC.
Have all the DLC characters unlocked from the start or unlock them differently like maybe input a code or something to unlock them.
You should use Megaman's classic sprite instead of X's sprite and have Shulk replace Blade.
Put in trophies that can be obtained and more moving stages with stage hazards in certain ones.
I'll have other ideas as well, but please upload the second installment on here.

an instant classic love it to this day

Okay, despite all the Nostalgia Blindness. I'm ACTUALLY going to give this game a proper Review.
I do like this game. But it has WAAAAY too many flaws to overlook.
- Wide selection of Characters
- Every Character is unique in their skills, moves and Balancing (What there is of it.)
- Variety of Game Modes. I enjoy the Adventure Mode, Classic Mode, and so forth.
-EXTREMELY Difficult to control movement, attacks, and jump momentum
-No Skill at all required. You can easily just move around mashing the one button since there is no lag between attacks.
-Speaking of lag, there is lots of it. It made stage 3 of Adventure Mode a CHORE.
-Things always clip through something. Items, background objects, hell, even the Characters sometimes.
-I HATE how there are no specials, no recoveries, Just one button, and 2 Jumps
I could definitely name off a bunch more but I don't want to cause a stream of Angry haters in the comments so I'll leaving it at that. Cleod-9, if you're reading this, I love SSF2. In fact it is one of my Favorite flash games at all time and a COMPLETELY different game from this. You're still making updates and characters in that game and I applaud you. I understand this was your first and you had no experience with Game Development. But every game needs a REAL Review. And I was the first.
I hope you understood my really in-depth review
