Who is Hexjibber (part 1)

This is the first animation I ever made. I think I had to do a homage to all the animé I had watched as a kid before I could go on to do anything else. I got all the characters by asking people in the studio at college to draw what they thought a 'hexjibber' would look like. Hexjibber is a nonsense name I got from a radio show I made as a kid with a friend of mine. The main hexjibber is a hook shape, because the guy who drew it was Polish and apparently 'hex' means 'hook' in Polish. I made the plot up as I went along (which I am sure will come as no surprise) and is also one reason why it is a total of 14 mins. In part 2, thing get weirder.

allright

im from america and i found it quite easy to understand(altho i have whatched a bit to much austin powers) i liked te idea but its a bit on the shabby side kind of 3 year old style art but i like it preaty much

OK. Almost Good

The scribbly stuff isn't very attractive, but it has length, story and humour. the whole idea of bringing your friends' Hexgibbers to life is entertaining.

The naration and speech is sometime hard to hear. You might put in subtitles, especially for the people of other countries, who don't understand our accent very easily.

I think I would probably have given it 6/10 3/5 if only it had ended more neatly, with credits and any other info, such as when you expect pt 2 to come out.

Please do work on it. The originality is refreshing, especially after Clock Day nausea!

Hexjibber responds:

Yes, I see what you mean about it ending rather abruptly. I'll have to sort that out. I'll have to upload part 2 tomorrow, because I am over my limit of submissions today. I'll consider some subtitles, as I know there are a lot of weird British accents in there.
Thanks for the feedback.

......I don't like it.

Ever heard of colouring inside the lines? I found this movie quite pointless, but guess weird things like this ARE ORIGINAL. I give up. Good luck on your later movies.

Hexjibber responds:

Yeah colouring inside the lines isn't what I am best at;)
This film is pretty old (2002), so I have improved quite a bit since then. I am in the process of putting up my newer stuff.
Cheers for the feedabck.

Good Stuff.

I liked your creative randomness, at first the story was dull, and it got a little better, the story was good, and all of the random events were entertaining, so it made me ignore the mediocre graphics. The graphics weren't too bad, they were creative. The graphics were especially good, and creative, when it showed character's intros to their names, or their special attacks, good job.

It was funny how everyone had the same name as the main character, except one guy, which started to look normal, that wasn't named hexjibber but he had a friend called hexjibber, lol.

The fighting was a good add on to your movie, it upbeated the story some.

Hey I can't wait to see your second episode, and I'm curious about super hexjibber, if he can annihilate the combined forces of the 6 hexjibbers, your a creative artist, I liked your movie, I approve highly.

Over all score: 7

VegetA.

Hexjibber responds:

Thanks for the feedback.
Randomness is definitely the main thing going on in this film... that and fighting. Speaking of which, there is even more fighting in the second half!:) It gets a lot more crazy. I'll upload it tomorrow.
Cheers.

hehehe

that made me laugh, and so for that reason as well as the fact you have the same name as a mate of mine! i will give you a good score on this movie

Hexjibber responds:

Cheers:)
