Forever Autumn

The Sixth of August has rolled around again, and I have decided to finally submit my latest Flash movie, “Forever Autumn.” The movie follows a man who is trying to comes to terms with the death of his wife, who has been killed by a nuclear blast.

While not intentionally done so on my part, this movie could be seen as either a sequel to “Bright Eyes” or a prequel to “Deliverance,” but not both.

I can remember watching this when I was a kid and it still gives me the same feelings of sadness, awe, and more. I still watch it occasionally and love it every time. This flash, and several of your others, all link together excellently into a great story of a possible World War 3 scenario. I hope, one day, you'll keep up the excellent story telling, SSFSO.

I've been looking for this for awhile. I remember watching it when it was on the front page. I don't know how many years it's been, but I still watch this.
I still think it was done well.

Could of been better

I found this piece to be very lacking. I saw no connection with the nuclear holocaust, both that the story was not told and that it did not feel right. The lack of animation made it very wooden and emotionless. Many of the shots were weak being either to literal with the lyrics, to cryptic, or too plain. I felt nothing for this. That said, the graphics were great. Was the man a 3D model? I don't think that the graphics make up for the lack of any animation, however, especially when you have long close ups on the man's face.

wow nice

plus+
-amazing amazing visuals
minus-
-bad pacing
-strange music
-where's the EMP blast that disables every car and electronic system?

An Oscar Winner!

Seeing your earlier works and seeing this, you have definately improved over the years. I can't wait to see your next work. Bright Eyes and Deliverance were my favorites, along with this jewel.
