This was a rather ambitious project, the idea was to send out the pages of a sketchbook to NG members all over the globe, their task was to draw all over it and mail it back to me.
At the end of the project the sketchbook was reassembled and the finished version now rests at the Newgrounds HQ.
Since not everyone can visit the office to see the real thing, this online version was built.
It doesnt come close to the experience of seeing the real drawings but it does let you see what everyone did.

There was about 72 entries sent out, 61 returned.
All in all a successful project and this will eventually migrate into being a part of the redesigned ng site when it is released through the efforts of Stamper.

Thanks to everyone who participated, sorry you all hated that brown paper, lol. And I'll be running this again next year, using white paper. See ya next year

Some people were wondering how much this project costed:
72 entries mailed at approx. $2.50 = $177
binding = $5.00
3 sketchbooks taken apart = 3 x 7.00 = $21.00

GRAND TOTAL = $203.00

This was an awesome and original idea,….The artwork was great…the fact that RubberNinja and Dim were even involved automatically makes it a 10 in my book lol…the only thing it could of used was some sound or music but besides that it was awesome….Tell me the next time you do this cuz I would really like to be a part of it….again Really great idea.. its nice to see something besides flash movies(most of which suck)on this site

I am so pissed

I have my page, done and in the envelope, right next to my computer. It has been done since like a week after I got the page, and I totally forgot to send it. Some of the pages were amazing. Some of them were pretty pathetic. Mine was pretty simple, but I still wished I had gotten it in. Oh well, I'm retarded. If you plan on doing one next year I've got my page ready.

Stamper's was awesome.

o_o dude

a brilliant concept getting the newgrounders doing something other then vector animating for a change. I should really quit some of my worse gaming addictions and join these kinda things since the end results must be far more satisfying... roll on sketches 2007! *hopes he's not too lazy to do one himself this time*

Very nice

But, I have a question...what the fuck is up with I-Mockery? Was he just kidding? He wasn't really being such a little bratty bitch about the brown paper, right?

Luis responds:

We'll never know... You'll have to PM him and ask him.. Either way I thought it was the perfect way to start off the book.

I may not have gotten in, but it still was awesome without me.
