IMPORTANT WORDS BELOW

This tutorial teaches how to make buttons using AS 2.0. If it doesn't work with AS 3.0 (Flash versions CS3 or above), that's probably why.

Where do u write that "on" and "release"? I want to knoow!

You open the button's action script panel. Just highlight your button, right click, and click Actions. Or just click F9 on your keyboard.

Good Job but..

The part where it says right click on select actions, actions doesnt come up on my button? I dunno why!

Its a good tutorial, but its just that little bit that I cant do!

Try highlighting it and hitting F9 instead. That should work. :P
