This is a stunning entry. While it's light on storyline, the character development is so rich that it would be oppressive any other way.
I thought the combat system was fantastic. It was up to the prince to keep the cash flowing to rejuvenate his armies, and stay in front to absorb the hits and heal so the money wasn't just wasted. At the same time, fielding a well-rounded army was *vital* to success, as without them, even the prince would fall.
The music was incredible. Really an epic sounding song to compliment this incredible game.
I also liked how armies were somewhat limited in some battles, where magic units and the like were unavailable, or where you had to pick and choose what units to field at the beginning, not having enough to get them all out at once.
One thing I noticed is that the Prince will die quickly to bosses. In these cases, it is up to him to move *through* the boss, turn about, and strike it repeatedly in the back, turning around to demolish the amassed monsters and keep his armies refreshed, all while healing himself.
Fantastic game, fantastic implementation. Just fantastic all around. I salute you.
That game was great! The graphics were awesome, the sound was good and the storyline was excellent! The only thing I can say about it that was bad is that there is only one type of attack...Maybe if you decide to make a new version you could make the 1,2 and 3 buttons on the numpad do different moves and make the stronger atacks slower and the weaker attacks faster or something... Anyways keep up the good work!
IT WAS GREAT
its really cool but its so sad when Cap'n Pitt dies
if you play this game try hard goodluck its really great!!!!!
Wow... just... wow....
That was REALLY awesome. I very much enjoyed the story the most, though. I was just expecting another one of those 'defend your castle' ripoffs, but this had a lot of depth to it, and it was very well-written. I loved playing this, thanks for making it!
AW!! well AWESOME
The Boss' weaknesses were their backs, but you should not be close because they have, let's say 110 degrees of attack.
