This is an informational yet funny little flash film about the videogame industry in the 80's through the eyes of a weird character. it's a short film, but it's fun to watch. please be patient when waiting for the buttons to appear, as they are 2-3 seconds slow.

great

it was hilariously awsome

Very edutaining!

This is most marvelous, shfonny, having to gain insight on the rise and fall of Atari; at least it was the most tragic event since DeLorean's downfall, due to the CEO's drug trafficking scandal after being on the brink of bankruptcy. Besides, I can't help but wonder what title of the song is, in the later part of the film, where the unsold Atari cartridges were buried in the New Mexico Desert and blown to bits. What was the title of the song?

shfonny responds:

i think it's called "the matrix theme" by crystal method. just do a search or limewire "crystal method" and u should find it. Thanks for the positive review!!

Video Game crash+this flash=pure pwnage

That was so funny. I loved the bit about flying arounds WAL-MART with the Atari. How did you do the voices, I really want to make my own.

shfonny responds:

i used microsoft sam for captain. and my voice for shfonny. i have a pc mic. i save the audio as a wav file. then i import it to flash

Good Flash.

Ha, I had one of those old Ataris, bought it at a pawn shop last summer. Yeah that didn't last long. I re-pawned it at the same place about 2 months later. Ha, that was funny it didn't say desert it said desert like the food.

seems quite interesting.

Handles like a documentary. and that is not usual to see a flash like this. But for those of you that want to know something a little bit beyond this. In 1993 Atari came back to the market to make a awfully crappy system called Jaguar. It looked like it was going to make up all the way up. Untill about late 1994. They atari shut down in 1996. They did a good job at burrying themselfs. I even got a jaquar system in 1994. It was kind of great but i wish i would not of have picked it up. Because the playstation came out in the next year. All atari did was kill themselfs with it.

shfonny responds:

well said brother
