It's mostly a style issue than anything. Since this episode is still early in what will hopefully be a longer series, we're still playing with the style.
Besides, our characters have as much ADD as we do in real life so that may explain some of that. Heh.

Interesting characters
It was created a feast of bread and fishes, and turned water into wine on a separate occasion. Thought I'd clear that up for you :P
Anyway nice animation, must of been a lot of work.
