this began as an experiment with an rpg using a story I'm working on. The file limit quickly grew to 4 megs and I decided that this would just be the prologue to the game which will include leveling up, equipment, items, random battles, and a continuation of the story.


Sorry about the filesize, I have learned some new techniques to get that size way down in the next chapter.

Spoilers--- (Don't read unless you get stuck!!)
!!!!!!


1. when in the scene with the flower, click 3 groves above the flower on the rocks.


2. click and drag the dying "axil" on the floor of the castle.


3. to beat the enemies quickly let your HP fall below 100, use phobos, and heal again afterwards. Make sure you save some mp for the heal or ur dead meat!

This was fun

Notbad on this, i was really impressed with how it started and continued to get my interest, and while it was abit large i had fun with it, so nice job Try and compress the file size nobody likes a large movie some people dont even watch a large file, so in that aspect your draw away users from veiwing your work, so a little compression would improve on this.

Flash that was inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics. Graphics really borrow the style of the original video game you are imitating. If you added more weapons, magic, and special moves this would be on the way to becoming Top Notch.

I give you 3 stars just because of the Final Fantasy Tactic sprites, I love them.
The story is nice for now, I hope to see the next chapter.
Now, I see some things that would be cool to have in mind; the times between turns is too longer, when the enemy finished their attack phase, it takes too long to open the actions again, it should be a second or less. The icon for ATTACK could be a dagger, it fits more that way. Enemies should have an HP bar and your attacks value should be visible. Only Phobos and magic attacks are, but not normal attacks.
