Press Start: Bonus Levels
"Beer Comes a New Challenger"

This premiere episode, "Beer Comes a New Challenger", finds irate ninja Lin-Ku at a bar, fuming over an unexpected turn of events at a recent fighting tournament.

**REVISED ON 4/20/2007**

"Press Start: Bonus Levels" is a monthly animated series based on the upcoming live-action videogame comedy movie "Press Start".

Created and animated by "Press Start" writer Kevin Folliard and produced by "Press Start" director/producer Ed Glaser, "Bonus Levels" goes where the movie can't, introducing audiences to the world of the film even before the movie is completed.

Each episode will be only a few minutes long and will feature the voice talents of the "Press Start" cast, as well as others, plus music by professional videogame composer Jake "virt" Kaufman. And while we're not mentioning any names just yet, videogame fans may find some enjoyable surprises among the guest voices in future episodes.

I love it. that was some funny shit.
"He could throw fireballs in the air, all diagonal-like! I didn't even know that was possible!!!"

This was pretty damn awesome.

First off, in response to Marioisawsomeness. The red from Bubble Bobble. "Google it!"

Besides that, in my opinion this is a great start for a flash series. Not bad, with room for improvement.

One thing my animation arts buddy always tells me.

"The graphics can suck, the music can suck, the action can suck, the whole thing can suck. But for the love of god...if you can't get the voices sequenced with anything that is remotely going on...don't bother."

I live by these words.

I love this series.

Watching the newest episode of this series has made me come back and watch all of these over again. They're great. What I've always liked is how the characters actually seem like someone who would be sitting there playing as the character in front of an arcade, or something. It's great.

I have a suggestion, though, when you release the DVD, maybe you could go back and re-record the dialogue in a higher quality? Or are you even going to have the old episodes on the DVD? Anyways, thanks for the great series, and I'll be looking foward to more.
