Maybe if I was a day person...

It alarmed me how many of the features were only available during the daytime. I work night shift, and therefore play games through the 12am-9am time range (on my days off, anyway.) While I could have adjusted my system clock, this form of 'cheating' to make the game playable really shouldn't be necessary.

As is, I could visit home, visit the gym, and visit the tournament arena. That was it. And I was never sure of what my stats were, since there isn't any (easily) seen display. I just clicked 'Train Strength' 6 times and headed into the arena long enough to get my medal. As for the guy who asks how one gets money, I'm not sure. I bounced the ball (in my home) for 17 consecutive hits, and I won in the practice arena, that was all it took for me to get the money needed for 60 strength. Not that I knew where the display for money, strength, etc. where. I just guessed through it.

(Graphics) The graphics, while somewhat well drawn, seem to depend on real camera shots. I've never been a fan of Roger Rabbitisms, so hence the low score. Also, little fluffy balls with various attachments is done and done. At least give us customizing options.

(Style) This game takes all the elements of good gameplay (stats, currency, minigames, etc) and throws them together in a mishmash. The result? A bunch of numbers that do absolutely nothing. Since when was strength a prerequisite for a good game of Tic-Tac-Toe? More to the point, who would shell out $600 to become 'strong enough' to play Tic-Tac-Toe?

(Sound) The sound, while well looped, was annoying. I can't stress that enough. Sure, videogames in the past blared annoying 2-second tidbits every time something happened, but you'd have figured someone would at least attempt customizing it, making it a bit easier on the ears, etc.

(Violence) For a game based on raising tournament fighters, there is a startling lack of violence. I mean, Tic-Tac-Toe? Would it have killed you to make an "Attack", "Defend", "Flee" type interface, or even Rock-Paper-Scissors, for crying out loud?

(Interactivity) The game is very simplistically layed out. You have a master menu from which, at certain times, you can select options. From these options come more options, ultimately leading to a selection you can make that actually affects the game. Which requires resources you don't know you have, don't know how to acquire, or don't even know how to call open a menu to look at.

(Humor) Just... not funny. No jokes, nothing. Well, maybe give it a one for the Tic-Tac-Toe... wait, not a joke, just lame.

(Overall) If this is a sample of what the finished game will be like, keep at it. Get rid of the unnecessary numbers. If the point of the game is to be good at Tic-Tac-Toe, throw money and strength out the window, as well as happiness, health, etc. And if this is a complete game, may as well blam it, as it makes absolutely no sense.
