I've been working on this for a while. The idea is to use covering fire and move your squad through the maze... remember spacebar shoots, press it once for sustained fire, hold it for rapid fire, and press it again to stop firing. takes a second to get the controls, OR you could read the instructions :P

There are passcodes for each level(different ones depending on you surviving troops), lets see who can get to the 9th level first.

Now this was really good, I don't know what spacehulk is, but if that's inspiration for this, then I'd say you did a good job on it.

The strategy needed to win is what won me over, there isn't any other way to play, you need to think it out, before the timer runs out. And although difficult, that doesn't mean it's not fun. Some things are left up to chance, but that's in every game.

Overall the movement being slow adds to the planning of the game, and the levels of the demons are what make you have to account for everything. I wish there were a few more ways to do things, like different enemies, and different units for yourself, though I think it was just solid all together.

It's alright

It was alright, but you need to spend some more time on it, and maybe make it longer...

Not Bad

Need to spend more time with it

Re: RIPOFF? Original game was "SPACEHULK"

Why do I know? Ironically, I have an original copy of the game sitting right here on my desk in front of me. And if anybody remembers, it was a 2-CD game.

OK... Ripoff claims aside. You've gotta admit, if this game had better controls, it would be a rip to play. I mean, wouldn't it be nice to have a game like SPACEHULK again?

To the author: try again, really. Make the controls easier. Flesh out the back-story. Heck, if you really want to do a SPACEHULK adventure, then go on and do a SPACEHULK adventure. I mean, like, the SPACEHULK backstory was like SO glorious! Heck, I was going to name a future son Horatio because the game made the name sound SO cool!

So... go forth and create "SPACEHULK: The Tiberius Conspiracy"... or something like that.

Honor the creators of SPACEHULK well.

You make it.

We'll play it.

Brothers and sisters in arms, are you with me!

jiim responds:

dude thats like saying the sniper games are rip offs of doom. Space hulk was the inspiration for this game, but this being a FLASH and not a FIRST PERSON 3D game i dont feel the need to conform to the WH40k universe.

Spacehulk is a damn cool game, i wish people would make more like it. is this game spacehulk? no.. maybe when i learn this 3d director stuff i'll turn it into a spacehulk clone, for now its SH in pacman engine.

as far as adding too it... I'ld like too, i've got some cold fusion books too for some sort of ranking... all the levels are stored in 3 arrays so they are pretty dynamic. even the firing clip can swapped out for different weapons. but the TRUTH is, and i realised this too late, no one wants an indepth flash game... they want quick silly flash games. duh. this is kinda like putting healthfood in the candy isle.
Any hoot, if any one wants the FLA, or wants to add to it just email me: jgauthier16@home.com

meanwhile I'll be off making quick and silly flash games, like today's JumpShot. and tommorow's Bikini jumpshot, wo0t!

Well Othello...

You fucking idiot. It doesnt matter! Everyones like "You ripped this off It aint yours!". But the only thing that should be a prob for ripping is a flash movie! ROOT ROOF ARFF!
