ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT... back by popular demand, it's Faust- the mysterious fourth episode over which I have recieved countless emails from people nagging- er- requesting- me to finish.
Well truth be told, I've had this episode done well over a year- and have never submitted it because it turned out like crap. Don't get me wrong, it's tolerably decent stuff, but I lost track of the voice actors, lost my motivation at the time, and feel that I could have done something much better. And now I can. But I won't, because I've plunged myself into an even larger project-- something bigger and better and far better than anything I've ever done before that will blow all your little minds away. It's a 50-page-script idea that I already have the vast majority of the voices recorded for, and NO WAY IN HELL am I canning it.
However, someday in the future I will redo the Faust series, be it as a detailed graphic novel or as a full blown animation. Someday. Yes, someday.
I admit this wasn’t one of my favorites in the series. I just felt it was too talky. I still appreciate how good it is. The animation is really nice. I keep hearing that guy’s voice over and over. I don’t think he’s very active nowadays.
The voices are of course wonderful. The dialogue is mostly good. I love that music in the background. It’s nice to show off a classic tale like this. It’s quite entertaining.

I actually enjoyed this. I think I'll agree with you when you say it could've been better, but it wasn't horrible, crappy, or anything like that. I loved it.
I also liked Mephisto, or however his name is spelled. He reminded me of - and you've probably heard this - Alucard from Hellsing, who happens to be my favorite Anime Character (he's just badass in every dimension). THe clothing was well done, but the business man in Episode 2 could have clothes that fit better. I like the demon's clothes, though- they suit a demon well.
Moar! Or at least a remake.
Good but not great
Perhaps I have far too many expectations, but the series in a whole is... lacking. It began well enough, but seemed to peter off near the end of part 2. I would say that you focused far too much on the heavy bits and offered little in the humor that was in the book. Also... I don't see Mephisto as a goth dude/vimpire thingy... but I suppose it is all open to interpretation. As I said... good but not great.
You also forgot Faust's ultimatum... but I supose that would have been too humorous.
