good but could do better

you should of added how to make 3d buttons. but i also have a suggestion. you should make a big series with special cursors and other stuff. good work

DragonFruit-Rock responds:

Thanks for the review Hyperkiller10. But the thing is, you cant make 3D buttons, umless you draw them on Flash, but you can't make buttons, or anything to do with any type of script, on Swift 3D. Also, the cursor Gallery has been done many times and are rarely good.

Thanks

Yo That Helped Alot But I Got A Couple Questions

1. How do you add the button into your movie everytime i try and test Movie you dont press it it all just flashes between the pictures

2. Other many tutorials use many other ways to create buttons with the Up Over Down And Hit Why Dont You Use That Way And Whats The Difference

3. And Are All These Questions Annoying

DragonFruit-Rock responds:

Q.How do you add the button into your movie? everytime I try and test Movie you dont press it it all just flashes between the pictures.
A.Make sure you made it a button, not a movielcip or a graphic!

Q.Other many tutorials use many other ways to create buttons with the Up Over Down And Hit Why Dont You Use That Way And Whats The Difference?
A.I use that way! Although some tutorials use a more sophisticated button useing the on(rollover) scripts, but this was a basic tutorial, for only newbies. If you want to learn the more advanced way then e-mail me at daniel.ortega@ntlworld.com

Hope that helped!

something missing...

your tutorial seems nice and straight to the point but as a NewB i do have one question where do i put the code?

DragonFruit-Rock responds:

Well, I have seen other tuorials and they don't say where, so I assumed that even newbs knew where to put it, so sorry! As for your question, you have to hit the F9 button on your keyboard, but make sure the button is selected! That opens up the actions panel, where you put all ActionScript.

Let me say that I highly dislike clocks...

That being said, this is a good tutorial. I've seen a few other tutorials but I never got the idea of buttons, until now. Thank you very much. Beacuse of you I know how to use simple buttons now. I thank you very much.

DragonFruit-Rock responds:

Thanks for baseing you review and vote on the tutorial and not the fact that I am a clock. I'm glad that you now know how to use buttons from this! I'm glad that some people find this tutorial helpful! Also, I must ask...why do you "highly dislike clocks"? There is no reason for it! Besides for a few pathetic smaming fake-clocks, all the Clock Crew members are nice, kind and are MENT to be devoted to spreading happiness throuhg the method that us animators call "flash". I hope to see your flash someday, and thanks for the positive review!

Not bad.

This should help lots of people. There are a few other tutorials which cover this in a more detailed way, but I still like this.

DragonFruit-Rock responds:

thanks, oh and thanks for putting me on your favs! it reallllllllly helps when i need help getting stuff through the portal! thanks again!
