This is partially based on a true story of what happened to me at Wal-Mart once.

Walmart is communist

I liked this movie a lot. Just pay attention to make sure the cashier actually checks you out correctly lol.

Well, the way the characters moved was nice from my point of view. But the whole idea is a little...well, unappealing in my book. Sure it makes you think two times before going back to Wal-Mart, but.

TheMentalInstitute responds:

It took a while to animate Harold... the story was just...... a simple little story :|

see what your tryin to do

Yea i liked the style of this and the animation does it for me...but the characters could and perhaps should have been a tad more complex and maybe you got a series goin...nice work on animating though

TheMentalInstitute responds:

I'm not sure what you mean by "complex" but I'll try to improve. thanks.

When Harold decides to go to the Wal-Mart, he'll let nothing stop him from getting where he wants to go. I must admit, while the characters are a tad bit on the simple and underdeveloped side, they are quite orignal in design, and look pretty good for the most part. I like the use of shading to establish definiation of body parts like the chins of the characters. The audio is pretty basic, but could use a little better refining as it was pretty sketchy and scratching. There is an interesting idea to this, it looks like it could work well.

TheMentalInstitute responds:

I just don't know how to record audio without that stupid "click" noise at the end of each clip :(

Thanks for the nice review.

The art was really good and I especially liked your use of shading, but its plot was dull and boring. The voices weren't all that great either. But hey don't get me wrong I like your art but I don't like the story. Based on a true story? Really. Any way I would honestly like to see something new from you in the future =]
