how do you beat the game???
This is an assignment for my game design class; the goal was to make a text adventure with no graphics. I’ve added a simple background for this version, but that’s all.
There are over 50 screens, tons of ways to die, and dead ends; I got a little carried away with the assignment. Still, it’s just a simple game with basic puzzles, and I admit some of the ideas are borrowed from other places (particularly MadMaze, IMO the best logic game of all time). So enjoy, but understand there aren’t any amazing flashy effects; just writing.

I miss the books with games like this one.
Content: As I said, I miss the books with games like this one, and this is not only a well made "Choose Your Own Path" adventure, but one on a site that should have more of them. Onto the individual scores:
Graphics: N/A
Style: Amazing, I wish Newgrounds had more people like you.
Sound: N/A
Violence: Obviously nothing visual, but the descriptions of painful ways of dying were well done.
Interactivity: Not very interactive, but that's part of the genre. As interactive as it needs to be.
Humor: Some of the the options were funny, particularly the ones when meeting the Crone. Far more significantly, some of the deaths were hilarious.
Overall: Brilliant. A sequel and numerous awards are warranted. This type of game belongs in a category of its own. And if there was a category for it, then maybe more people would make "Choose Your Own Path" adventures.
Just like...
Just like the choose your own adventure books, although there wasn't much choice and it was a very predetermind destiny. But i havn't seen many online versions like this although short it had a good story to it, but you should make it harder it only took me five minutes to beat.
P.S. lol i love the talking bird bit XD
Ok
That's diferent from normal games... And I liked it.
