Update: I finshed part 2. it was much much better than this. took me about a week. And then my harddrive got wiped. i had a laptop, and it said it couldnt find the operating system. Now its all gone, and i duno if i'll remake it or not. sorry.

Hey, this is my second submission to newgrounds. It took me quite a long time to make. Sorry for the "to be continued" ending but the filesize got too big. I've started part 2 and its seeming alot more action based than this one. I realise the sound effects aren't great, if anyone knows where i can get better ones, please say in your reviews, thanks.

This flash works in many different ways. your graphics are nice put together with your style and sound. The violence was minimal but the interactivity makes up alot. Thank you for your submission and I hope you can make more in the near future.
Thanks, I plan to make another flash soon but it will likely be a sonic flash, as the sonic sprites are far easier to animate.

First and foremost...
Congratulations on 10k views, which is freaky, since this has only been on NG for a day.
Now, before I go on, this was a decent effort. But there's a lot of room for improvement. You obviously know what you're doing in terms of importing sprites into Flash and such, but you honestly need to find some new sprites to use. While they aren’t as cliche as some generic Mario or Sonic sprite, I've still seen them more than two or three times on Newgrounds.
For the style, (which is a cliche term in and of itself) it's just the generic, formulaic "Someone vs. Someone" type of movie. While this isn't bad per say, it's been done before and better. My advice is to not worry about file size and just go nuts with the fight scenes and choreography of the fighters. In other words, don't focus so much on the characters powering up and going "ZMOG KAMEHAMEHA!!111one!1" and try to balance that with the characters throwing some actual punches or kicks.
For the sound, since you already admitted that that was a problem, I won't penalize you for it. Try going onto some DBZ fan sites and look for some sound effects, and maybe some better music.
One thing I really liked was how humorous it was. It wasn't really humorous in the traditional sense, but this reminded me of how hilariously corny the dubbed version of this show was. Ah, good memories.
So overall, not a wasted effort. But it could have been much better. I look forward to Part 2.
What can i say? Was a very honest review. I'll look into the sound effects, and i'll try to include more hand to hand combat in part 2. Thanks for the scattered praise throughout the review, and i'll try to make part 2 less cliche in terms of events and dialogue.

The fighting was pretty good!
The sprites moved perfectly, no interuptions! The battle scene was really good. The sound effects were also good as well. It was cool how at the end Gotenks Super Saiyan 3 came to kick Brollys ass. I can't wait for part 2. This flash was cool and I enjoyed watching it. Good work!

i'm not sure. i think in terms of characters it probably works out to be after they killed buu. but the original idea was brolly came back straight after the first brolly movie. So i duno. But i'm not sure if it's that important tbh.

Although You BADLY Miss-Spelled Brolly like 8 times... some sounds were lacking... I mean You could Have Used a Power up Sound effect of a KI Blast Sound Effect at some places in the Movie...

thanks mate. but about the sounds; i couldnt find ki blast sound effects anywhere. nor power-up effects. nor anything else of use. the closest thing i got was that "kamehameha" sound; i couldnt find anything else. So, if anyone knows where i can get effects, please say, thanks.
