I've seen a lot of flashes that blatantly rip off Firth. This wasnt one of them. It had a few similarities, but it still was quite original. Anyway, it looks like you're a good animator, and the graphics looked pretty cool. The voice acting could have used some work, but you had some great song choices. Was that Godspeed You! Black Emperor I heard? Why, yes it was. Wooha.

Bizarre, I'll give it that. The hammer when he replaced the red lava lamp on the shelf really made my stomach twinge. For the record, I only thought one or two of David Firth's flashes were interesting. I have no idea why some reviewers rate badly or don't like it because it has similarities to few of the hundred billion other flash animations out there.
You are SOOO a fan of David Firth
Your flash reeks of his work, although it was good i couldn't slap anything higher than a 6 as the over all score because of you use of other peoples styles and the elements that made those flashes great. Good work though, you have REAL potential, that was a really good flash.
Do you like David Firth? If my flash is "SOOO" much like his, as you so eloquently put it, then you must hate him to vote my video a lower score because of it. You get me?
People, I think David Firth's flash has no depth or meaning at all. I can't stand watching it, and I can't stand when people sit around moaning about how incredible Salad Fingers is, or whatever his newest flash is at that time.
I'm getting sick of it. I liked "Roof Tiling" a bit, as it really deviated from everything else on Newgrounds, but other than that, I think his flash is intellectually devoid.
So, point being, if you rate him so highly for his style, why do I recieve a lower rating if I'm "SOOO" similar to him?
You have no justifiable reason, I'm sure of it. You are just threatened by another animator who (god forbid) might have a bit of talent, and perhaps rank as high as your all-powerful David Firth.
I don't recall anybody telling him he rips off Tim Burton, Jhonen Vasquez, or Roman Dirge (and I bet he doesn't follow them very well). No. He's totally original.
My inspiration is Burton. Everyone has inspiration somewhere. Look into Firth's past. He was inspired by SOMEONE.
Will you love your "god of flash" so much then?

That was quite spooky.
It's very hard to find any good spooky flashes but this one was good and it was even kinda funny in a silly way,all i could say is that it's one of a kind and you did a real great job on it. =)

when i seen it i actually got freaked out but then i found it funny
to me it is nothing like davids just because the head is on the side that everything is the same god you people need new eyes ears and possibly brains.
