The Scotch Egg Incident

Author Comments

The Scotch Egg Incident is my first full animation. I began making it about half a year ago, left it for nearly 5 months and then decided to finish it. I was aiming to create a 'classic' cartoon feel. This entire animation was inspired by a Scotch Egg. Enjoy!

(I don't know if Scotch Eggs are a common food in other parts of the world. If not this link explains what a Scotch Egg is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotch_egg).

WHOA :D :D

I was looking is they had a tottaly differet thng... but SOO glad I found this! THIS IS AMAZING :D

man, I love scotch eggs

Pretty decent flash. Scoth eggs are awesome too! But just in case I'm eating on on top of a mountain, I'll make sure to be extra careful in the future

What is the point

Liked the fact that looked like a cartoon

jaffaz responds:

What do you mean what is the point? Its a cartoon, it doesn't have to have a point. Open your mind, you'll find some interesting things. Thanks for the review :)

Good

I liked it. I liked the intro stuff, like an 70's cartoon or animated intro to a 70's movie.

I liked the details- focusing in on the cow and the cliff sign.
Why did the bird fall to the ground (die?)

jaffaz responds:

Good question on the bird. It did die I guess. A lot of sparrows fly into windows in my neighbourhood, guess we have dumb birds - think thats where that idea came from. Thanks for the review :)

Not Bad

I liked the music and your art style is definitely unique but still good. The only problem I had with this flash is that it was too short! Make some more that are a bit longer and have more jokes crammed in.

jaffaz responds:

Yeah, it turned out a bit short admittedly. But I was trying to turn it over quick because it was an old project. Thanks for the comments thought :)
