You can now build automated platforms in the build / construct area and use autocannons. Il be working on new spaceships, weapons and a new ground combat system. Il probably upload it sometime this week. i removed the target area as well

best played during office hours!!!

eventhough this game needs some minimal patching up on the interface, this game really rocks for me.

u were right that was cool effects!

changko18 responds:

uh yeah it kinda gets pretty boring fast. Im working on new ships and weapons; maybe put some shields in. I've already uploaded a version wherein you can construct automated platforms but i think NG still has to check the files out due to the number of people that have viewed the movie. Anyway thanks for the constructive criticism.

This game makes you feel dirty, in a good way

This game is pretty awesome, a lot of shooting things with missiles and thats pretty much it. Although being able to customize your space station rocks, the game does get repetitive after level 10, sooo, give it a try, but don't get your hopes up if you are looking for something spectacular.

Issues Minor Adjustments Needed

A very well thought out game, but definitely needing more improvements. As has been commented, there simply are not enough weapons to deal with the increasing alien threat in later levels. The custom missile should ameliorate this problem, but it costs far too much; in making a custom missile that approximates the performance of the "Standard Missile" I end up with one that costs ten times as much to use; that definitely shews an imbalance.

The greatest detraction from game play is the fight with boarding parties. If more board than you have troops than you lose; if less board than you have troops than you win, and you have no influence on the outcome. Unless you add some interactivity at this point in the game you should simply be rid of it. Place a counter at the bottom of the screen near hull integrity to show how many have boarded and that will be sufficient to inform the player as to why he just lost the game.
