Goo - Part 1

This animation focuses mostly on movement and animating. I've gone through a lot of trouble for it to look has fluid has possible, because, after all, that's the point. They could be a part 2, but I haven't started work on it yet and I'm not in any hurry.

However... Since I've gotten so much feedback (not all good but what's the point in pleasing everybody) I will make a part 2. To be honest, the original script (conveniently stored in my head for security reasons) wasn't meant for two parts. But, has some of you have figured out, it took me a long time to make, so when I reached the point when Goo gets captured, I figured this would be a good place for a intermission.

Furthermore... Ok! I get it! To God damn long! But you have to understand, the action was planed for part 2.

Has for the music... I have to admit that I'm no musician. I'll conceder teaming up with somebody who is.

And finally... How did I do the SFXs, you ask? I modified the pitch on sounds I recorded myself and which I simply produced with my mouth. Spit was also an ingredient.

Why am I hella depressed after watching this?

A Digital Masterpiece

That was really good. The film shows a vast amount of talent coupled with a vast amount of potential. I strongly disagree with those who state or imply the film is too long. This film/movie overall came across to me as a test, an experiment, a prototype. Therefore length is good as i gives you more time to show your abilities & what you can do. I really liked it, the "goo" throughout the course of the movie became more than just its namesake & the viewer begins to either understand or try to understand this character. When it saw the ball, it was clear the "goo" had intelligence & was a fast learner which added further depth to the animation. I think this is a superb piece of work & if you continue to spend as much time & put the same effort into your future work, then the only place you'll go is up. Brilliant

sluuurrrrrpp.....

VERY cool. I felt that by about halfway through i knew Goo like an old friend - it was weird and stupid but that's just how it is. The sounds were wicked! That slurping sound was great!! I really loved this flash. The only bad thing i have to say is WHEN WILL THE SECOND BE OUT??!!
Cheers!

Nice things come in small packages

That was awesome, I was mesmerized by it. But yeah it did kinda drag on a bit, it might have been better had you kept it short and sweet. Niiiiiice.

Cool!

Seeing as this really was more of an animation test, it probably could have worked if it was shorter. But then its score probably wouldnt be so high.
There's not really too much to review here, im shocked at it's daily award, but I guess I shouldnt be, it's good!
