FEMA Rap: The Video

Share Collapse

Author Comments

The audio is a remix of sorts of the 'rap' that was created for kids visiting the FEMA.gov website. It's pretty bad, not to mention in light of recent events completely full of shit. Bigger than I'd like, but that's thanks to the number of images included and the unnecessary animations. Oh well. Enjoy. ;)

not bad....not good

well, the song was alright, but a bit tasteless.....

Fortyseven responds:

You can thank FEMA for the rap itself. ;)

I vote 10!

Only because I saw a transformer. But there was a really good message to this cartoon, I guess you could say this cartoon had more than meets the eye.

Soundwave!

Soundwave makes me happy!

Fortyseven responds:

Indeed! The miracle of the 'Wave's Rverb' audio plugin and careful configuration can turn everything into his voice.

It's quite addictive, let me tell you. ;)

well

again i dont understand why people do shit liek this, honestly why promote hurt and violence in the wolrd, people dont need to see this stuff

Fortyseven responds:

I think you misunderstand the context of what was presented.

Essentially the US has this entire department of the government that is supposed to be the ultimate response to a disaster.

The rap (mostly lifted from their own website) illustrates an unwarranted cockiness in the light of the recent challenge presented to them.

I found the rap itself amusing in this context, and decided to embellish it with a favorite character of mine, and some random footage. Not really going for comedy, except perhaps Soundwave sliding his head side to side... just political commentary, for the most part.

Oh wow thats just sad...

Thats the real FEMA rap on the real FEMA website... thats just awful. You get bonus points for pointing out a tragec irony.

Fortyseven responds:

Yeah, it's pretty scary. ;)
