Go Ska!

"Go Ska! was about the slew of recent ska bands that arose due to the popularity of ska in 1997. That was a good time to be a ska band, that's when people started listening to us. Then, once ska died down again people stopped listening to us. Of course, this song had to come out in the year 2000 when everybody has nearly forgotten about the short wave of ska popularity. Some call it stale, I call it innovative"

A long time ago, I took a clip for this song from my favorite local band, ASOB, and I made an animation out of it (The middle section with the skanking tutorial). Upon showing it off on the band’s forum, there were a whole bunch of replies saying that I should make an animation for the full song. Well, after months of slacking off, lack of sleeping, and inspiration from friends and fellow fans, this is what came out. I hope you all enjoy it. For what it’s worth, the band didn’t really like this song and I recall it being ignored when requested live. Listen to Three Cheers for Disappointment. They consider it their best work, and its still my favorite album of all time. They made some of the greatest punk ska I've ever heard.
