An exploration into another dimension (literally). My first attempt at 3D API, the whole game (besides audio) is built with Actionscript - ship and enemies are redrawn dynamically every frame, using trig calculations based on the z axis. 2400+ lines of code, includes an online scoreboard. Game took 2 weeks to code.

Arrow keys to move, X to shoot, Z or SPACE to bomb, P to pause.
The further away an enemy is when killed, the higher the score.
5000 for game completion.

Thanks for playing. Hope you enjoy/enjoyed the game. Depending on how well this version does, I may create a Mk II with more variety, powerups, bosses, etc.

Well done! Excellent Game!!

First off, I totally enjoyed the game, nice style, nice original gameplay. Surprising attention to detail as well, like changing the perspective of where the camera sits in the tube, etc. Anyway, two suggestions:

1.) Would it be possible to add shadows or some hints as to where the enemies are in 3d space? it seemed finding where they were took some trial and error
2.) Music didn't make the game entirely engrossing, but it worked.

Denvish responds:

Thanks for the comments, and glad you enjoyed the game. If I get round to making a Mk II, I'll certainly look into implementing those suggestions.

congratulations, on this great game...
but it's quite repetitive, so i didn't played for long, but it's still a fine piece of hard work...

Denvish responds:

Thanks for the positive review, I appreciate it.
