UPDATE: Press ESC anytime during gameplay to escape and return to Character Select. Also, Regular Weapons are destroyed by the ball, however, Super Weapons can penetrate the ball, allowing you to hit your opponent.
PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS PEOPLE! I've had too many people complain they can't use Super Attacks. It CLEARLY states that you can only use super attacks when your health is lower than 100.

Allright people, here's the scoop on MEGAMAN POWER BALL.
Megaman Power Ball is a Pong clone with an extreme twist: The ability to shoot projectiles at each other and have powerups that are collected on the play field. All instructions are explained in the game, and can be read by pressing the (i) in the Options Screen after selecting characters. There are 22 characters in total, a few by Capcom, but most designed by me or my friends (All the legal crap is in the Credits). There are a bunch of powerups on the field as well such as Ball Speed Modifiers, Crazy Ball, HP Modifiers, Character Speed Modifiers, etc. The game also includes 8 audio tracks, which 7 of them were created by me using Apple's Garage Band.

Unfortunately, this game can only be a demo right now because Macromedia did a really bad job at programming Flash for Mac OS X, so I'm really limited to what I can do with it. It was supposed to be a full fledged game, complete with unlockable characters and music, and a complete Story mode, but due to the crappy programming that Macromedia has done, my project has come to a halt, but I wanted you guys to see the project I've been working on for the past month.

You're welcome to leave any feedback, but take note that no suggestions will take place because of what I have just mentioned above.

Overly interactive game that is missing the basics of the original pong and the style of pong of today's console generation.

"missing the basics of the original pong"?? You're shitting me, right? You have to be retarded if you can't see that this is BASED OFF OF PONG; where the hell would you think I get the grounds of it?

And there is no pong on today's 'console generation'. The last Pong game that came out was like 7 years ago for the Playstation.

Next time know what you're talking about before writing a review or comment.

good and bad

Good: ROCKMAN!!!
Bad: gets kindof boring after a while, need more already made characters
A good source for rockman characters: E-mail me to find out

Of course it's going to get boring after a while. Every game does.

I didn't want to use more already made characters, I felt like adding my own touch to the game by using mainly my own characters. And no thanks I don't need to email you to find out a good source for Rockman/Megaman characters, I've been a fan since '91 :) Believe me, I know them ALL.

very good

needs tuneing up though ad more characters like stinkoman (anime SB) or something other than that great =)

You know, it would greatly help if you people actually EXPLAINED what kind of "tuning up" you wanted. I've tuned up this thing like you wouldn't believe, and saying "it needs tuning up" isn't going to help me solve any problems.

And no, I'm not adding any more characters, ESPECIALLY "stinkoman" (What the hell is a "stinkoman"), because not only is 22 characters enough, but I don't take requests either from anyone.

Besides, I really don't think judging this as a 3 out of 10 is very reasonable, as:
a) It's almost got a score at 4 of 5.
b) Everyone seems to like it. Why? Because a lot of work was put into it, and people enjoy it.
And finally,
c) You haven't made anything better yourself. When you can make something that's 10 times better than what I've got here, then I'll understand the low score you gave me. But until then, judge fairly.

good, but still need work

Ok, were should i begin?
1)Graphic - the graphics were good, but you realy could trase those pixel pix. the attacks weren't as good as i expected. Ow, nice work at the character selection BG! the animation could be better (there's allmost none).
2)Style - that was good. the only thing that bothers me is that there was too many custom enemies. MMBN has a loat of characters to select of. there could be an adventure mode in there full version. and after passing the storu mode, you would winn new characters. or if you pass losing many HP, you get nOObman =).
3) Sound. that was your weak spot - the sound wass pretty bad. you could make a pre-lissening to the battle BGM. and the music at the battle entering was like wrom a dying P.C. you could use the same one, only the original one, not the sow called remix. the SFX were good.
4) Violence. I wasn't expecting bloodsplashes, but at least flashing left when hit! you could add an animated hp loss like a vanishing and flying away "-25".
5) Interactivity. You have too many HP at the game event if you lower it maximum. I't boring to fight someone for 15 minutes!
or make more HP tooked away when attacked! the power-ups where baddly drawn, and you have to change the pick up system. they should be piced up with attacks. and the super attacks werent so super. they souldn't be 5 super attacks which take a 25 hp damage and be used only when your HP is lower than 100!
try making your superattack slowly charging when the ball is yours (same type as yours).
6) Humor. There was no humor here (exept noobman=)!)bot it's not nessesary. it would be better if you'd have some jokes it the story mode (if u'll make it off source).
Overall the game wass pretty good. keep up the good work
