Solid game and good work on this graphics weren't perfect but game play was good

It's not that bad
This is a good little game, and I can't see how it could have scored as low as 1.86. OK, the graphics are basic, and it needs sound, but it shows a lot of creativity and potential. I look forward to seeing more adventure games from the author.
And yes, like all the other reviewers, I'm stuck in the room with the cat, the dead rat and the switches. I've tried figuring out colours and button combos from the note, but to no avail. Oh well, I'll figure it out someday...

I think the note is a clue. Look at the two names, Thrice (3) and Uno (1). I've tried all 24 combos of using each button one time, pressing one color 3 times and one color 1 time, and pressing all 4 buttons 3 times each,and then each button one more time. But so far no luck.
The cat doesn't care for the yarn, but maybe he'll want the dead rat somehow?
I really like this game. Reminds me of... Shadow Gate I think it was called for the old NES.

An enjoyable game
I really enjoy games where you have to use your brain. This is difficult enough to keep the player amused but simple enough so everyone can grasp it without getting frustrated at getting nowhere. I too got stuck after finding the yarn, and really wish I was able to get further. Any chance of a site with some hints on? I really want to be able to finish this game.

Thanks alot I'm glad you've enjoyed it. I've heard alot of complaints from people about the brain cursor. So In chapter two it has been removed rather creatively. Chapter two is longer and more difficult. All of my puzzles were thought out and do have a system to them When you finish a puzzle I wan't you to fell like you've accomplished something and not feel cheated. You are close to the end and if you still can't figure it out Email me. Here's a hint. What Color is the Gem? What Color is the Rat? What colors are the switches? How long has the Black cat been there? How about the rest of the items. What was there first?
I hope chapter two is enjoyable to all as well.
its good...
except for the fact that the cursor keeps changing into the brain after each time you use it.... change that. And I got to the gate... there's obviously a sequence to the buttons. But I'm not patient enough to sit there all day just to find it out. I dont think that note really helps. But I'm really just speculating at this point. Its a good game... but thats as far as I'm going with it. I liked all the smart ass comments you put in there if you try to do stupid things. Like shining the flash light on the spiders. Keep up the good work. And I'd like to see you fix that cursor problem soon :) NoSoup: OUT
