Robots are Stupid

EDIT2: I added a picture viewer and a working preloader. The picture viewer lets you see the flash versions of cels so people can stop guessing if this was made in flash or not.
EDIT: Front page-ness. I'm.. speechless. So I won't say anything. ...well, except thanks. But that's it.
EDIT: Hey, Daily feature, awesome!

To play, put the mouse on the word 'are' in the title. The play button shall show up. By default, subtitles are off. If you want them on, turn em on. While the movie plays, in the bottom left corner there's a play and pause button hidden. If you want to do either of these, go there and press em.

Long story short, a robot complains, and people complain about his complaints.

Short story long, this cartoon is about a Robot complaining about his lack of feelings, ignorant to the fact that he actually has them if he can desire them. The people he encounter notice this, but their points fall on deaf ears... deaf ears the robot doesn't have.

NOTE: The quality sucks due to the fact that I couldn't export it as a .swf normally, so I had to export it as a .avi file and import that just to make it playable. This is the best I could do, so just bear with it.

Oh yeah, and as always, leave a review. Just please don't complain about the quality... I explained that already. Complain about something else that I can actually learn from.

This was pretty decent

The animation could have been better on this, the artwork was not as bad either, the robots voice was pretty good and seemed to fit him well, so nice effort there, So the robot himself was pretty good looking nice design, you pushed good effort in this and had it very well orginised, if anything is to be improved on maybe some slight more detail and enhancments in the artwork, but everything else seemed right on and perfet to a point, this flash gave me some good entertainment value and even some laughs so nice work all around. anyways hope to see what you have for us next time, allthough this review is abit late from release date, anyways nice work.

The onlything i could see working on might be adding some slight more detail in the artwork, as the animation was pretty good.

Very entertaining

It's great how this robot consistently keeps that monotone voice. I suppose if you talked like that, you probably would think you didn't have feelings. I thought the animation in this really wasn't that bad. I mean, it looks a heck of a lot better than the artwork shown on the main menu. It was also cool how you showed little captions when people talked. It's kind of like you were riffing on an already funny cartoon!

It reminds me of that "Futurama" episode where Bender says that robots have no emotions, which makes him sad. It is a problem you can run into. This seemed to be a different kind of flash for you, but it really worked out well. I just love the robot's design. It's about time the voice for the Clock Crew was used for robots.

Needs improvement.

First off, the story was good and the characters were funny (especially the robot).
Only one problem though, you need to improve your ART.
It was okay but you still need to improve your art.
Overall, it was good. I was entertained.

Love it!

You're flash movie wasn't bad at all to me. But I'm quite sure the animations should fade close together.

Mentally it was great, Physically it was shabby.

The storyline and concept had some real potential and was amusing but the presentations and flash animation quality was basic and often confusing, especially with subtitles with the text layout contradicting together quite often. That aside it was humorous and refreshing.

Bobert-Rob responds:

Well, this was the best I could do. The .fla file became corrupt, so I had to take the video file and import it to flash to be able to release it anywhere. It's disappointing, but it happens sometimes. Thanks for watching!
