its a tutorial to help people to know how to do physics in flash and maybe you can use this bounce actioncript for like a bouncing game or whatever. just do the tutorial.

The only thing I don't understand (if anyone could pm me to explain it if you'd be so kind) is why you multiplied the _y variable by -1?

It does what it promises. You had selectable AS, which is good, and the explanation was pretty cool too.

Still needed some more. You need to explain better what changing any variable will do. Also, some applications of this would be nice. Just looks like a tween to me. How can I interact with it, etc.
