Hopper has done one to many bad deeds and has been sent to Hell. Find the hidden portal while avoiding a heat-seeking fireball and a giant killer lava bubble.
This is my first game and I plan on elaborating on it when I get more advanced in actionscripting. Let this game stay now, and I promise I'll get you a sequel that is out of this world (It will be a side scroller with multiple difficulties and levels, etc.)

really, really big waste of time
you can't win. All you did was program that fire ting to lower your score and the moving water to raise it. I can't see promise in this no matter how hard i squint. I'm sorry, I wouldnt give this such a bad review if it wasnt so bad.
A good start but...
When you submit incomplete games you must expect more severe critics.
The major problem is that you do not feel like you are progressing when playing.
There should be a point where you die because when you have a huge negative score you cannot hope to progress.
It will be better when there will be complete stages instead of messing around in one place.
I almost never saw the portal, make it appear more often.
I liked the style and graphics.
Overall just keep working on it and you might come up with somthing good.

Meh, not really a good game I would say. This game was getting quite boring after a while. Actually, I've seen people doing worse with their first games, but I've seen people doing better as well. It still needs a lot of extra work in my opinion.
There were a couple of bad things about this movie. First of all, when that giant killer lava bubble hit's you, you lose a whole lot of points (about 500 points a second) and it was really hard to get so many points. At a certain point a got a score of about -2000 cause of this. Please make it about -25 a second or something. Second, the graphics could use a little improvement at some places. They were not crappy, but I've seen better. Third, at the beginning I thought the screaming noise was kinda funny when you were burned. Later on it really annoyed me and made me turn my speakers off. Please change it into some different sound. Fourth, I played this game for a couple of minutes and I've seen only 1 hidden portal that was there for about less then 1 second. How am I ever going to win this game if it's so incredibly hard to get into a portal? Fifth, like I already said, the game was getting quite boring after a while. You should at some extra stuff, like more enemies, more ways to receive points, more levels, powerups (like one that let's you move faster for example), some platforms where you can jump on etc. Those things will make the game a lot more interesting, I'm sure.
Overall I'd give this 4 out of 10, 2 out of 5. Like I said, this stuff needs a lot of extra work. I saw that you were planning to make a sequel, hopefully that one will be a lot better then this version. I hope you'll improve and add some of the things I wrote in this review. Anyway good luck with making the sequel I guess.
