Spider-Man was created in 2000 as a portfolio piece, two years prior to the release of the live action film. Keep in mind that Flash cartoons designed for the web in 2000 needed to have small file sizes. Thus the limited character animation. Spider-Man is just over half a megabyte.

You can see some examples of my fuller traditional animation at my website

In 2000, it might have been a 9 or 10.

In 2005, it's only a 5 or 6.

Considering when it was made and file size limits back then, this is good, but in today's NG flash movies, the graphics aren't that exciting and the actual battle is nothing that I haven't seen done much better in the animated series.

Great animation

as far as animation is concerned, it is the better that I've seen lately. The flash was short. That was true. It was kinda simple though. Other than that it was good.

An interesting stylization of my favorite superhero. I liked the animation style the movie was done in wever there wasn't much to the animation itself. A few weak sound effects, and on top of that the characters didn't do much.; they were animated in a standard paper cut-out way. Not bad, but could use some imporvement.

Nice graphs...over then that...

Its got good animation, other than that it was pretty boring Spidey should have fought back. He wouldnt just hide like a little girl.

As far as animation is concerned, it's really cool. However, I expected more of spidey than to, like, hide in a tree after getting blown down. I mean, the whole thing is just "Take this, you little bug." *dodge, dodge* *swing, swing* *throw-throw-throw-throw-throw, in rapid succession* *kablooie* *look, look* *can't find, can't find* *oh well, oh well* *ha ha i'm right here, ha ha i'm right here* The End. See? I just did the whole thing. too short, but, again, good animation.
