Be sure to read the 'how to' in the game, it is very important. Its a simple concept, but requires just a little bit of understanding in order to effectively use Rel-A-Sketch.
To answer everyones question about the confusing controls: It is intentional. I wanted to find a way to control it, but have the controls be indirect enough to make the resulting image look like an etch-a-sketch image.
'g' toggles the small, circular guides
There is no background music in this game. Personally, I don't like background music in simple games, as it increases game size for 20KB to 800KB and I usually just hope the author has included a "stop music" button anyway.

This was ok, i had fun with it, it was somewhat entertaining, the design of it could be better though, like the red parts it was ok but add some shading and detail to it aswell as the nobs and so on, it would greatly improve the game...

Wasnt too bad, but not the real thing.
Maybe with a little tweaking and some more animation, this game would be just like a real one of these babies, but it seemed to me that it was a little hard to make something with it, and the cursor moved a little slow, but thats OK. Some sound and animations for the shaking would be awesome, but otherwise great!

I rememebr having one of these babies, they were always fun, lol though pretty hard to draw a decent picture on them (until you became a master at it that is. This wasn't a bad idea, I like it. It still could ahad soudn wella soudn effect for the shaking atleast., still pretty good I say. <3 <3

Etch-a-Sketches are tons of fun, and to see a version on in Flash form is something that is quite enjoyable. There is not much to the basic idea, just an X and a Y angle, and then you can just have some fun. The one thing that this is missing is the sound effects for the shaking option. It is a great option, and since you have included it in your version of the classic game, you try to stay true, but we need that nostalgic sound to solidify this as a reality. The basic design retains the original look of the Etch-a-Sketch, so good job on that. Keep up the good work.

Excellent homage to the Etch-A-Sketch, I think. It seems like it was hard to digitize, what with the controls and all. But it wasn't that hard to figure out. ;] Just as hard to draw on as the original, though. xD
