Good but needs work
The movie would have obviously been better with the voices or at least subtitles. Overall, id say it was lacking because of the vocals, but, it had flavor and i do say thats the first flash ive laughed at today. The concept was good but the graphics and sound should improve. I didnt know what was going on until he busted in. Keep up the good work though
Nice effort
Well, regardless of the time spent, I think it's more critical that you learn from the responses to your movie now. Don't let score keep you from learning from this so you can make your next movie better. I agree completely with Seaspray and also feel you should tone down the flashing screen. Closeups on faces with moving mouths should only be used as a story telling device. If you can't accompany some kind of vocals or text with it, then it becomes extraneous.
ex. 1. You have a close up of a guy laughing and saying "heh heh, I bet that punch hurt".
or
2. You can show the guy getting punched and then the guy laughing.
They both tell the story, it's just up to you as the director to decide which to use. In the case of your movie, you used 1 fairly often, and didn't include the words which throws everyone off. Anyway, good luck on your next piece. :)
Brand war
You did a pretty good job doing all the graphics and had a great idea for an animation. But the syncing was terrible. Try to fix it maybe, the graphics looked a little fast for the words. But definately not bad!
Uhhhh what?
Ok I'm sorry but why the descision to take out the voices?? I had absolutly no idea what was going on until the VERY end... I didn't know who was good bad or indifferent... The only saving grace was the last "fight scene" between dough boy and smiley guy... Umm ya no voices are needed here... Other then that a little bit of cleaning here and there (The first shot where he looks up outside the club is waayyy off) and a couple little things but the lack of voice talent killed it for me sorry man

And why'd you take out the voices? The only saving factor this thing has is the fact that it has all those cereal mascots in it, and they're drawn well. But I'm not sure of whether or not that was worth the headache the strobes gave me.
