Simplistic yet great game!
The layout of the board looks kinda like Othello/Reversi... and the simple black and white design is very minimal, but that's a good thing. A simple game shouldn't be spruced up and loaded down with tons of unimportant graphical frills. So... now we're down to what's important. THE GAMEPLAY!
It's interesting how the first thing you notice while playing is that if you just randomly select a start point and go from there... there tends to be one or two areas of the board that you end up either roping off and not being able to get into... OR... you end up dead-ending there before you finish the board. Either way, this tends to serve as a clue: maybe you should set up the start point in that general area, and try a different starting direction or something.
When I first played this when it was submitted early in the month, I believe I got to level 6, but I can't manage to make it past level 4 tonight. It's a damned fun game, though. Levels 1 and 2 are fairly easily, level 3 is tough at first but if you think about it the right way, it's not too bad. Damn but level 4 is hard.... at least tonight it is. Heh. I haven't used it to skip ahead, but the level selector is a good idea... for those who get more frustrated or impatient with levels like 4. Overall, just a damned good game! Great job with this.
