Hamster Wars: Test

I made this to get the hang of Flash. Its extremely basic but it's my first ever animation. I need pointers on how to improve etc. This is a Beta Test for something else. In this the audio can be fuzzy and voices may seem to change but we all have to start somewhere. I can't guarentee you will enjoy it, but you never know, maybe you will like this strange, short cartoon. This is a constantly looping film, sorry i dont know much action script.

pre-ty good,

you should make a longer one i mean just how did the war start? what are the hamsters names? is the one hamster a soldier? what hapens next keep up with that animation and make a LONGER MOVIE WITH MORE DETAILS take that into consideration and show me the best you can do good luck

not bad

it was alright, a bit random though.

...

Overall average but it has potential... the voice acting needs to be cleaned up, the voices seemed to change half way through, they didn't quite look like hamsters but i guess thats okay, and some of the humor was okay but lacking mostly. Was that a Discworld quote I heard near the end?

ArchieAnimation responds:

Thanks, lol no that wasnt an intentional Discworld quote, but thanks for noticing it.

Cool.

Good concept, but the storyline really didn't progress. I think that you should make another expanding on what you already have, but move the story along better. This one stagnated a bit. You animation rules. You also need to work out some sound issues, and only a couple flash bugs (like the panning out section towards the end was really choppy.) Oh, and add a play button for high speed connections.

Not bad for a first try.

Not bad, not bad, man. You've got the right idea going; you just gotta keep workin on those skills, you know? Fix that sound problem (maybe get some better voice workers; real deep, adult-sounding voices would make the hampsters a little more ironic), and work on how smooth your animation works, and hell, you've got what might become a series if you felt like doing it. Keep it up, and we'll see what you can put out later.
