You're a really good artist despite certain, ASSHOLES, spouting out their stupid-ass opinions (which they can personally keep to themselves) and from looking at your most recent work(your latest submitted work) I'd say animation is definitely your calling card for the future with the tech job on the side.
Anyway ignore bias opinions and continue on with your great animations, and I really hope to see more.
