4/19 - Front page! Yay. Thanks to everyone who played, voted and reviewed!

The deep shelter of the forest has always been a safe haven for those who inhabit the land. This place of love and prosperity is now being over run with Orcs, Goblins and their sinister Leader. It's your job as the last archer in Gondor to rid the forest of this threat and return peace and safety to the land.

Whack a mole!

Loved this game: it's like whack a mole, where the moles hit you back. lol

The skill that you took to fabricate each orc was evident, as well as that returning Saruman. (Guess you really *can't* kill a wizard, eh? lol) The opening forest was beautiful, and the the trees where the dastardly killers peep out of were decent, as well.

I didn't like how the farthest of far orc could hit me, causing me grief, but meh, those were the rules. It was a good game, and I greatly appreciated the synopsis at the end. I wanted to save the princess Buttercup (one of my favourite movies is Princess Bride), but that is when the game ended. :(
The only thing that made me wince, but it is keeping with the times of that fictional era, is that if you save the princess, the king would give her to you in marriage. (Being a girl, that was yukky to me.)

Also keeping with that era that made me cringe was that only the male nobility and the king's sons were to be trained. Historically accurate, perhaps, but still a little bitter. :D

Overall, a very nice game, good graphics, random oofs and ooohHs, and favourable to play.

Sorry Mazz, it was too easy.

And also it was just old, and the same stuff over and over again. You get a four.

Well I have to admit. It was somewhat less than I had expected. I went straight from Easy to Hard, and I found myself disappointed with the ending. It really was quite a let-down to have the story told for you. Creative, but not something that works. The graphics themselves were relatively impressive with fair music, it sounded very appropriate, if a tad bit short and repetative. The game didn't offer much of a challenge, but at least the idea was fairly original. A bit more diversity between the levels, perhaps with the introduction of new types of warriors, but nonetheless, you did well. Not a bad job at all.
