Here is a sprite tutorial I made to fill in all the blanks other sprite tutorials have left behind.

Even though this is my first tutorial, I hope it will help someone out there...

Version 2.0
~ Added a much needed Sound Button
~ Better Preloader
~ More Uniformed Text Area
~ Quick Jump Function at Credits
~ New Intro and added sounds
~ Overall Redesigned Look & Feel

Future Improvments
~ Another file overhaul
~ Productions and SDR logo
~ Chapter Selection with back buttons
~ New content including information on sprite backgrounds as well as Frequently Asked Questions

I would also like to thank everyone for their continued support of this tutorial as well as giving me ideas for more tutorials in the future.
Without the surge of knowledge from curious animators and aspiring artists, there wouldn't be Sprites: Done Right!

You don't get a title.

This was helpful, but "Pixulated" isn't a word. It's "Pixilated!"

Very helpful

I'm sure that many people will find this tutorial very helpful. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

- Useful information
- Good explanations

- No back button in case you forgot the details of a previous step

- If you are going to show screen shots, make sure they are sized properly so that they are legible in the tutorial. Showing illegible screenshots doesn't help much.

- Add a back button
- Properly size the screenshots
- Possibly add some links to some sprite files that people can use
- Allow people to turn off the music; it could get old if you keep the tutorial running in the background while you work on the sprites

I gave it a 5.

Even though I'm not a Flash artist myself, I think people will find this tutorial useful. Good work.

Nice tutorial

That was very nice because I know a lot of flash artists that could use a tutorial with sprites I see so much crap get put on here that people think is good. It is always a good thing when a tutorial is put on here because I seriously think it helps aspiring flash artists because sometimes talent is just not enough. Keep up the good work in whatever you do in the future.
