Duck hunt on acid

This was fun yet really really hard. Maybe the speed of everything needs to be slowed down so we can get a lil more time to aim. But I got good at it after a minute or so. Fun game 5/5 8/10

Room for improvment

I like shooting games and all but this had no graphics what so ever.
The dics were just cirlce that your could make and paint shop.
Also I don't know if this is yours because I've seen it being submited two or three times but I could be wrong.

I think you can get a lot better on your drawings of your idea.
I wish to see more of your stuff and hopfully you have gotten better.

Needs more work...

Needs a bit more development, try to make it more interesting.
You could add more guns, different things to shoot the targets at.

A nice game

thats a pretty good game

It isn't too easy though as you said but graphically it was good and pretty interactive, maybe if you could make more levels, maybe get other types of guns it'll be more interesting :)

Well it was hard at first until I found the trick of just shooting in front of them. You might want to fix a few bugs tho, everytime you press "Play Again", it counts as a shot and sometimes the discs start from the far right, going to the right so theres noway you can hit it at all. Also, you might want to add more levels, and have discs going from left to right instead of just right to left or straight.

Ur, pretty good.

A very nice game, but the graphics are crappy and the plates move a little to fast. But if you forget all that shit it's a nice game.

Pretty cool

These games are nice, but I don't get why the gun had a sniper scope if you can't use it, and the gun noise was a little screwy :P

not bad overall

nice game in general, i found it quite easy and got 15 hits with 18 bullets my first try, bu there are a few bugs that you need to fix, all in all tho good start

It was an OK game

Graphics- Good looking gun, poor background
Style- Snipers and Plates are not cool!
Sound- Ok, but buggy
Violence-um........u shoot plates
interactivity- Yes, you get to shoot, but the controls are a little slow and definitely not spot on!
Humor- funny because of the retarded concept
Overall- 4/10 its sorta a stupid concept with some poor graphics and controls, but who cares? At least you get to take out your anger on some plates. ANd isnt that what matters?

Nostalgia, but not much else

Reminded me of the clay disk game of duck hunt, which made me happy - till I noticed how awkward it felt moving the gun, how the huge, stagnant muzzle flash really wasn't needed, and that the collision detection seemed to be pretty off. Art was pretty boring too. Sound...boring.

Needs work.

A good challenge of precision, but boring at times

A pretty good classical game that reminds me a lot of games such as ‘Duck hunt’ and ‘clay pigeon shooting’, not a lot different only it’s with a Sniper Rifle and some plates. There isn’t any originality here, but it’s an old classic non-violent shooter so we wouldn’t have it any other way; it’s a just a shame of the little letdowns in the game and this definitely had some improvement that could be made….
First off, the graphics of the game. Pretty bog-standard really, I can’t say that the game looks graphically amazing since you pretty much stuck with a simplistic look that would be easy to create, and it shows. Even the menu screen had a plain background with a toned shading that you can easily create, still I guess it’s the game-play that really matters in this and not the looks, it’s safe to say that graphics aren’t as important in the game. I liked the simplicity you chose for the background but at times it was just TOO simplistic. To be honest, you have put good effort into the game but the graphics doesn’t give you amazing credit for it, I don’t mean to be critical but I know as an author that if you can make a game, you can improve the graphics a little. The sniper rifle looked especially impressive, it was detailed and even had a scope on the top, and in a way looked very 3D. I was a little disappointed though that we couldn’t use that scope to zoom in and out to get a better aim and shot at a target. However, I was a little disappointed at the looks of the environment of “Sniper Plate”, it looked graphically cheap in some ways and very MS Painted, the setting looked and therefore FELT physically bland and even boring; a lack of graphics – a house, a large green field and some hills, not exactly eye-candy is it? You really need to crank up the setting and therefore mood if the game, breathe LIFE into the environment. For example you could crate animated animals that run across and grassy knolls, and even different scenes for different levels.
Next, sounds. Not a lot of music in this to be honest, I mean all the sound we got is the noise of the gun and the sound of the plates flying out into the sky. I feel that background music is a big must here, since with that the large gap missing from the sounds aspect is pretty much filled, and besides the action feels a little ‘mute’ without sound.
Finally, game-play. Obviously the best aspect of the game, it was classical and I liked it. The game required sharp shooting and precision; it is one of the very few games that feels more satisfying requiring aim and skill, rather than just blood and gore flying everywhere. In some ways, having to shoot quickly at a small moving object is more exciting and better than that. However, in some places the game felt a little boring, not only because of the environment but because of the play – instead of just plates flying out from an invisible force a machine firing them would be much more exciting. “Sniper Plate” was also short-lived due to the lack of story and plot, I think even in a game like this you should add levels to it. The pace could get faster and you would have to shoot more plates as you go along, not only adding more excitement but a better learning curve. This leads me to the fact that the plates moved a little too fast for my liking, and for some reason turned faint after a while even when they were still in clear view. This didn’t help the fact that the controlling of the gun was awkward and difficult, and the shooting collision was clearly off, many a time a plate remained perfect even when I had got a clear shot at it – you could also just aim your gun in front of the target and hit it perfectly taking away most of the point and challenge. You need to sort out the collision detection of this game.
Overall, a nice classical game that requires aim and timing, rather than just violence. A good challenge, but there are some errors and awkward feelings about the game that need to be cleared up. Nevertheless, well done and I hope you found my suggestions helpful :)

hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm, boring!!!

not bad one

a pretty basic-style of plate shooting game... but tryiing to hit them was a major hard challenge. i though that maybe it would be simple to hit them, but it wasn't the case... it was quite difficult hitting them, but that was a good thing, offered a big challenge to it.

Preeety Good

nice little challenging game, its actually quite funny, due to the fact that while these big plates go by you, you can barely hit them, thankfully im acing it, (thanks to my beating of all Time Crisis games cept no.4) but this is very challenging, and is a good training game if your stuck on a diff. sniping game, this is gonna be to hone my skills so that when i play other aiming games ill be able to ace tem.
