Superpower

America needs to be safe. Why the hell do you think we're the only superpower(chinas coming up pretty quick)? Why do you think it was Russia and America as the two superpowers during the cold war? And dont give me that bullshit, oh Russia suffered the least amount of damge in Europe because they suffered the most from money to human life (22 million people died in Russia ALONE). They struck while the iron was hot (acuiring eastern Europe) and built MANY nuclear weapons. Those nucs and our huge army is what kept us from fighting a war with the russians. You see, the russians were scared of what we could do and vice versa. If they wernt scared, they would have obliterated us. Thats why we keep those weapons and make new ones. Because technically, they do keep us safe.

Also, you forgot the leader of Iran who wants to make a lake Israel right where it stands with nuclear weapons, and dont give me that cover bullshit about how they only use it for energy because there are so may better ways to get energy, ways that cost alot less than to use nuclear energy.
