a lot of you are misunderstanding the meaning of this cartoon, it isnt just about falling in love and heartbreak....
note that his piece is of a different color, and doesn't even fit well with the one he falls in love with (kind of like how we sometimes fall in love with people we shouldnt fall in love with)
his heartbreak is his own fault, he knew better than to fall head over heels with the girl....
this cartoon is my way of telling people to wait for that perfect person, that perfect fit!
don't just accept any close fit because you are lonely.....

I was feeling kind of like the poor guy in the movie for a while and then I saw this. It feels good to have something to watch/listen to that you can relate to. You did a very good job! It was an interesting and simplistic (not simple) interpretation of lost love and how patience benefits in love.
