The American government is frought with corruption. Popular media has us running dogs galloping left and right, in and between issues until no one knows up from down. Our leaders at every level of government are facilitating a self-righteous, insidious mantra which benefits the excessively wealthy and (excuse the overuse of the following term) victimizes the citizens they "represent". In 2004, I voted for George W. Bush on the ignorant presumption he would somehow 'fix' the problem his administration helped instigate, or that he would finish his campaign of the American military policing Middle Eastern countries. How foolish of me. Suffice it to say, after the past three years alone, I have lost faith in Conservative America and its practitioners. If we use history as an object lesson, America itself was founded upon the pillaging of land and rape of its indigenous people. Call me a hippie, a fool, or what have you; these things I am not. Nor should anyone reading this be. I challenge anyone to look past their current paradigm, consider and research those of others. I will not argue with anyone online the validity of my viewpoint, as I am only adding my two cents. In closing, concerning the aforementioned history of America, I say this: only a bastard government occupies stolen land.
