A psychonaut's opinion
Did you personally have a particularly traumatizing mushroom experience? Honestly, I've had a number of intense experiences, and the time dilation and color changing are probably the only things I found realistic. I mean, yea, I guess if someone's mind isn't strong enough, or they don't go with the flow well enough, they'll experience introspective episodes that would capture those sorts of images, but ehh... I still think someone needs to portray a positive mushroom experience, and with visuals as accurate as possible (open and closed eyed)... breathing, glowing, morphing, fractal patterns, that sort of deal. That'd be way impressive! All in all a powerful movie, and I have to say, a strong message against the whole system of dealers and their black markets and the kind of bullshit it causes... well, that, and against ill-prepared mushroom trippers. Don't you think suicide was a bit much though? Would have better IMHO to emphasize time dilation by portraying a massive mindfuck or mind-loop. Music was rather trippy, but the visuals (hehe) could use some work.
