Its very risky when you go for a very simple flash short to get a good response, you either create something magical with the simplicity or it just falls short, this unfortunetly fell short. What i felt was wrong with it probably came down to two things, the fact that the backgrounds were basically a line and the lack of voice acting that could have been added for the bird laughing. While you did play a couple of things right, i did like your background music and i thought that the skeleton design was good.

Breath of Fresh Air

This little animation was a breath of fresh air that I believed is needed in a community like this... with everyone striving for animations with color.... and a story line... and decent drawings... this one begs to be different... I liked the silent movie approach though to add onto the humor you might have done "sound cards" like they did in the movies... like when the car hits him a black card covers the screen that says something like *crash*, then go as far as to put the butterflies words on a card... otherwise I liked it...though you coulda learned from Greg Gilmore and maybe killed a few babies in the process.. just a thought ;)
