Here is another tutorial, this one actually shows you how to make things. It will go over pretty much everything you need for a good first person shooter. Check out the forums for any questions you have

good but

it doesn't seem to work! so what good is a tutorial if the product doesn't work? I may have missed something, or am doing something wrong... though I redid all AS and doublechecked everything.

maybe I'm just doing something stpid, right in front of my face. please help, if you ever check this username anymore.

first, maybe you will do a playable example or at least have an existing game like the tutorial.

o yeah and the link to the forum doesn't work.

rate it as helpful.

white cross

I cant drag my white cross...Well actually for some reason it is black please PM or respond with details on how to fix and I wont vote on this till i get the answer!!!

Helped A lot , but..

Can you put instructions on how to make the muzzle flash on the gun that follows your mouse? I've been looking for a tutorial covering that, with no success. But still, its a really great tutorial . Keep it up!

Pretty good.

Haven't seen many flash fps games though. I'll be sure to check your site out one of these days. Good tut but:

- Include a playable example next time, so we can actually see what you guys are talking about and play it to see if it really is decent.

- A little more detailed, It seems kinda short and I doubt that with only this you can deliver a "decent fps".

- More types of games. I'd love to see a race game, a fighting game, a sidescrolling run and gun, a shoot 'em up, a beat 'em up... Whatever the hell you can come up with.

More, bigger playable expample and you guys will be the tutorial kings.

I'll look forward to seeing my suggestions put to use and checking out more of your work.
