Thank you everyone once again for the postivie support. I finally broke 4.00 and even made the Front Page! I'm truly inspired to do even better next time!

This animation begins at the end of a doll's life right after it's been thrown away by its original owner.
Luckily for the doll, there's someone out there with the power to give it a second chance.
I'm sure anyone familiar with Edward Scissorhands will recognize the music I chose... I hope you like it!

Did you use some of the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack?

pretty good. i liked the whole theme of it all.

i really liked the sounds of the machines, but i think u should have put more emphasis on the fact that the doll was a girl (couldn't tell from the begginning) and the emotions on the other dolls.

Yes, in hindsight and especially since everyone is commenting on it, I entirely agree with you. That's just a detail that I'm going to have to remember next time around. The great thing about the Portal is that you can test the waters and find out exactly how much detail people will pick up on.
Thank you for the review, too! I'm glad you liked it.

That was great, and very Tim Burton

Good stuff! Tells a good story, and makes me smile. =D
This Totally reminds me of stuff like Nightmare before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands. Not the mood, but the style is very similar.
Anyway, good work.

im seeing to much of the same stuff now'a'days

yeah normally id like this movie but today alone ive seen too many movies that involve someones misfortune turned into their greatest feat in life.overall just get a little more qriginality and youll be set

cheshirepus responds:

I suppose I could animate some of the great tragedies, but I don't think Sophoclese would translate too well to Flash. Could you imaging trying to convey the emotion of Oedipus gouging out his eyes with his daughter's brooch, and having it be in Flash?
Sorry you didn't like this. Maybe next time. :)

aah how sweet

Man, i like the music. U created it on ur own? I think this flash is very good and fun to watch. Great work man!

cheshirepus responds:

No, I got the music from the Edward Scissorhands soundtrack, but yes, I created everything else on my own.
Thank you for the good review.
