The sequel to Megaman vs Metroid. Both games have unlockable weapons, press pause and select a weapon you've earned from either game.

The music is djpretzel's Ghouls 'n Ghosts remix, PsychoUnderpants. Click on the Audio link and get the full version from djpretzel's site, Overclocked Remix
The boss battle music is Gux's "It's Boss Time" remix, download it here:

Slow computers will run Flash at slow speeds, I found a way around it, but it only goes so far. If the game runs at irritatingly slow speeds for you, close some programs, change the screen size from the options menu, and grab the latest Flash player from, since later versions play the game slightly faster

On some computers, you can only press so many buttons at the same time, this isn't a bug in the game, just something I have no control over

Just in case anybody complains, you are supposed to fall off the disappearing platform in the forest, it's part of the game

One thing I added in this game is the ability to unlock weapons, to unlock them, beat "Megaman vs Metroid" or this game, and you should see a message before the credits saying you've unlocked a new weapon. The new weapon should be selectable in the pause menu the next time you play either game

If you do not see a message saying you got a new weapon, this could be due to several different things....
1. You may have blocked Local Storage, right-click on the game, select "Settings", click on the folder icon, and if the "Never ask again" checkbox is checked, uncheck it
2. Go to and check to see if you have the latest version of Flash
3. You may have ignored the game when it requested storage, if you see a prompt before the credits requesting permission to store data on your computer, allow it
4. Are you sure you don't already have it? Pause the game while playing and check to see if any other weapons are availible

I'd just like to mention the star of "Ghosts 'n Goblins" and the boss of the game, Arthur, is the most untalented video game character in video game history. He can't change direction in midair, can't jump off ladders, can't even throw a spear without having a seizure, you name it he can't do it. I made him as hard as I could to make up for his many flaws, devoted hours and hours of time on his AI alone. Hopefully Arthur will give you a run for your money, but if he's giving you to much trouble, remember he's the most untalented video game character in video game history, use all his weaknesses against him, he's got plenty

A Mega-Ghostly game.

An excellent collab and an extreme boss made out of the crappiest game character ever. Truly you can go far with AI control. I suggest a career in game designing.

I'm not much of a fan of Ghosts and Goblins, but I am a fan of ol' Rock Light's adventures... So... This is like a wet dream, wrapped in a tortilla, and then filled with cheese. EPIC game, however Megaman doesn't really seem suited for the landscape... He's like incredibly clean-looking, whereas everything else is more pixellated... So it's like he's gone back in time...
Also, of interesting note, I suppose Nintendo could claim this as canonical if they wanted, but that would mean resurrecting the long forgotten Captain N: The Game Master cartoon of the 1980s, where Megaman [a green one. don't ask.] was one of the N Team, which travelled from game to game to destroy Mother Brain [of Metroid fame] from taking over the Power Kingdom, which was a collective name for all the Nintendo worlds, but most especially the main floating castle... thingie.

Er, where was I?
Oh, right. Great game, even though I couldn't beat it. [damn those platforms. I had the same problem in the megaman games. I hate platforms that move.]

This is brilliant.

This is really impressive work. MegaMan controls very well (or at least as well as is going to happen with a keyboard) and movement holds effectively true to what it would be on the NES. Lots of flash games that attempt to be MegaMan or Mario or whatever else fail to capture the correct feel and timing with movement and jumping and this one hit the nail on the head.

Ghosts 'n Goblins seems like an odd choice to pair it with and the whole thing makes literally no sense; but that just gives it more charm. This is absolutely spectacular work. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
