*** Update: I just added a new dialog at the beginning to explain the rules ***

Faro is the card game that gamblers used to play in the Old West. It was the most popular game in America a century ago. The whole story of how and why I made this game is on my website...

Nice job, this was neat and fun, and I must say it was very well-made, the graphics was very good like the detail on the cards great detail, and the gameplay was very fun and didn't lag like most games, very fun game indeed, and nice overall work, hope to see more soon

The story of Faro is very interesting and could provide some insight into the Old West. This flash is average, but it could use more content. It currently feels like a mini game instead of a flushed out entire video game.

This game was made 6/9/04, and I was the ninth person to vote on it.

Encountered a glitch when last three cards were all the same; popup informs me that I can't bet on the turn because they're all the same, but then after closing the popup I can't click anything else. Also, soda card should be flipped before the betting.

Otherwise, great game, lots of fun!

I wanted to see if any playable version of this game existed since I was curious about dead card games. I actually heard that the game really died out in the 1950s after WW2, but I guess dead is dead. It's a really simple game and I can actually see why it died out in casinos. It just doesn't have much action to it and the house won't be able to get much of an edge. Card counting would be far easier, too.

A wonderful distraction!

Well researched with clean graphics and a good interface! The voices and sounds are nice and the music and crowd noise makes me feel like I'm really back in the Old West...could just be the horse manure under my desk though. Personally, I like to see new card games or old card games that apparantly a lot of people forget about, I'd never even heard of Faro before! It's well done, keep up the good work!
