Queerland inhabitants don't have fixed sexual orientations and roles. They fornicate following their highly changeable desires. Forget what you learned at school about the two genders and enjoy a trip in this odd world!

This is a non conventional approach to the beat 'em up genre. The traditional character's unitary identity is replaced with a fluid one. Queerland inhabitants have dynamic and fragmented sexual orientations and interchangeable sexual roles.
The usual "drain your enemy's energy" scheme is transformed into a more collaborative and nonviolent mechanism.
We were strongly inspired by the queer theory that reject traditional gender identities and the creation of an artificial and socially assigned categories based on the division between those who share some habit or lifestyle and those who do not, The Other.

It's a great concept, but it's poorly executed. The controls are clunky and stiff and after about 30 seconds you've seen all there is to see. This game needs a little bit more to it before it's any good.

First of all, ignore ever other review on this page that is 5 stars. If you play this game, and you rate it 5 stars, you deserve some things done to you, for which this game would give you some ideas.

Anyway, the content I find in no way offensive - my objection is that it isn't a game. It's useful for 30 seconds of humour as you change from person to person and watch the characters interact in certain ways (ie. fuck each other), and that's it. That's what merits this game 1.5 stars as opposed to 0 stars, but really it's better to do anything other than play this game.

Player 2 reached orgasm and all they did was suck a dick? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I appreciate that this game is trying to introduce evolving gender identities, but I feel like this game flops overall with difficult controls and a very limited view of sexual activities. Speaking as someone who identifies as queer, I'm not particularly thrilled by how simplistic this game makes gender out to be. I'm almost offended but more confused. The initial concept was pretty cool, but for one thing, the game is called "queer power" but the explanation says it's a "transgender game" and the two do not mean the same thing. Not at all. Needs a lot of work to be even close to good.
