Well done
I liked the flash for the most part, even if I think the message (vote Kerry) behind it was wrong. A nice little short. Also made a good point that Americans tend to vote on strange grounds (Bush is stupid/Gore is boring).
I didn't downgrade you on the following, but I have to bring it up. For one, the resume that you used for this flash was not, as you ascertain, entirely accurate based on facts. "First president in US history to order a US attack and military occupation of a sovereign nation"? What about the World Wars? Mexico? Somalia? Serbia? Others? Weren't Germany and Japan "sovereign nations?" Did Somalia or Serbia declare war on us? There's also something about Bush setting up a "secret shadow government." That doesn't even mean anything. There are other examples as well, these are not pure facts.
The main thing that I have to applaud you on is your comments on reviews. It's refreshing to see Kerryites who don't state that anyone voting for Bush is a dumbass, such as one of the other reviewers, who called Bush supporters (sic) "mentaly retarted."
The only way we'll ever get real elections is to do away with two-party system and open it up so that more than two contenders have an actual chance to be elected. That way, politicians would no longer be able to tell you who to vote against rather than who to vote for, and that they would no longer have to tailor their platforms to fit "Democratic" or "Republican" standards, just to have a chance of making it past the primaries. I believe it starts with expanding the debates to include more than just the Republican and Democrat candidates. Maybe it doesn't make for as good of TV, but this is the leader of the free world we're talking about here.
Sorry for the rant. Keep up the good work!
